Optibet requires IBAN information with Proof of credit card payment:


"Provide bank statement with visible deposit from your credit card to our site. IBAN number, bank name, your full name, date, card number/details should be visible in a screenshot or PDF file. In a screenshot full website URL should be visible. "


Other casinos accept IBAN numbers with bank statements not credit card transactions. Optibet do not.

Yes, and I tried to explain the situation to them with no success. I have delivered all the other documents (passport copy, phone bill, copy of credit card, bank transaction with IBAN, credit card transaction with all the information there is. But they keep demanding one specific credit card transaction with IBAN numbers. They said my account stays restricted until I provide that information and stopped responding to my messages.

How about contacting your bank at this point? I'd try to ask whether they can help provide this special kind of document.

I asked and it's not possible. I also checked that no other casino requires that kind of information CC+IBAN number in their kyc (or at least I couldn't find one that does).

It sometimes happens that a casino requires a document, that's simply impossible to get. Even I couldn't provide a screenshot containing by transaction history and information about my card.

But it came to my mind that you could record a short video from your internet banking, showing everything they want to see.

Thanks, that might have worked. But they don't answer my messages anymore and the support chat is not working either. They also ignored my request to talk to some senior or manager. Just wondering my options to solve this issue.

You could try this download Adobe acrobat from the App Store. Go to your banking app. Find the monthly statement with transaction on it. Download it to Adobe then you can send the whole monthly statement to the casino and tell them where to find it on the statement by the date. I hope this helps.

Yeah maybe, but the information they require are in the different "streams" (locations) and they want the see those (IBAN number + CC transaction) in one single screenshot or PDF. I did the deposit also from my regular bank account and sent the screenshot of that, which they didn't approve.

The last casino I joined would not accept a screenshot of my bank statement proof of address so I sent them a pdf and everything was fine. I would try a pdf and ask them to clarify.

They told that IBAN number is a must have, no matter what. And that's why they don't accept any other documents. I have tried to sent at least ten different files from my bank statement and credit card transactions. But IBAN number is missing from the specific credit card transaction they are after. Didn't believe me when I told that the information is not available.

It must be a different system to the one in the UK normally when you deposit you do it by debit card or credit card where you don’t have to supply your Iban the only time a casino requires your swift and Iban is when they want a withdrawal by bank transfer.

I have deposit money by NETELLER before (debit, and there are both IBAN numbers available). But now I did it with credit card. But maybe I just file a complaint. This is not the only issue with this operator.

Just found out that the bank is able to make a statement that has CC transaction and IBAN, that will cost extra of course, but then the URL would be missing. Haha, this is getting ridiculous.

You can get a stamped document from your bank confirming what you said or you could actually get a stamped document confirming what the casino requires from you. Anyway, I understand that this is really unnecessary hassle and I advise you to submit a complaint.

In their site is mention that in Alternate Dispute Resolution (complaints) I should contact Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS), but you (your crew) seem to handle complaints as well. I have also one modest jackpot win waiting somewhere in their systems.

What do you recommend?

Hm, we don't have many complaints submitted against the casino here on our website and according to what I see. You can try to submit the complaint here and in case they don't react to it, you can follow the suggestion on their website.
