Wrote today again to MFE that they can see MGA simply ignore us. Yesterday tried to get in touch with Antonio Zerafa, but until then no any news.

Antonio answered me, he urged the responsible department to response me, and at least they send an email, that the investigation is still ongoing.

As I took some research, I have found a possibility: payment order.

Between European Union states, you have the right to issues payment order to whom you have a financial claim against. In this case the relevant court (in our case its Malta) will issue an official payment order which call on the obligor (EGMIT Elite Ltd) to pay for the claimant (us). You have to fill in some forms at the E-justice portal and it has a fee (about 50 EUR) and after the issue the obligor has 30 days any statement of opposition if not the amount will become automatically enforceable. If there is statement of opposition may "be transferred to the normal civil law courts to be dealt with under national law; or dealt with in accordance with a European Small Claims Procedure, or discontinued."


There is option to create more claimant against one obligor, so I think maybe we should try it soon. What do you think?

i would like to at least wait for that reply and try to trust MGA a bit that they are working on this.

I guess the license provider should state its conclusion first. I know it's taking an excessively long time still, the authority is a major player in this situation.

The idea of a payment order sounds logical to me, though I haven't heard about such a working solution yet.

no news from anywhere, but today I wrote to the EGBA regarding our issue. I think we should consider the payment order in the near future, specifically: small claim procedure. Keep in touch.

I reached out to MGA and this time they replied in few days and it feels like the work is really underway. They wrote this:


To do this, we have completed a preliminary data extraction, which shows us the final standing of your account with EGMIT Elite Limited, after the Licensee stopped operating. We are now verifying that the data we have is correct. Once this has been completed, we will be able to move forward with this matter. Please note however, that there are external factors which prevent us from providing a definite timeframe. Whilst we must emphasise that we aim to resolve this issue as speedily as we can, this could take up to several weeks to be completed.


So they have got some data at least from elite24bet. Lets hope good news keep coming our way!

I didn't find information regarding this, but I can believe in this seems logical. You should try to reach MGA too, but they are so unresponsive and I think they don't do anything to solve this matter. We have still an opportunity to issue The European Small Claims procedure against them.
