I’ve tried to search everywhere to see what countries are listed has restricted, and there’s no where saying Bangkok or UK. I’m so confused to how a company can be so unclear on things and get away with it. Do you think it would be smart to get a solicitor in place?

há um ano

filehere’s nowhere i can find which says jeffbet does not accept the countries I’ve been in? There should be clear rules from their end, that they don’t allow cash outs in Thailand. What’s your thoughts?

I think you made a bad assumption.

Allowed and restricted countries usually refer to the land on which you are a citizen. It is bound to the KYC process focused on your identity, not your travel plans for the upcoming weeks.

I mean, each time you change countries, you should inform the casino and also mention that you plan to use public networks. It should be consulted before, just to avoid such misunderstandings.

Does it make sense to you?

há um ano

Ok that’s fine

but why did they allow me to deposit thousands and spend my money?

if I lost I wouldn’t have heard nothing from them?

now I’m asking them questions asking for all my data on my account they’re sending me one sentence answers?

surely if they don’t want you to access their site from another country they should block access?

so answer my question, if I lost all my money would I heard from them or would they allowed me to continue to deposit more and more?

let’s be real, it’s a fraud business and they don’t want to pay out legitimate winnings

its fine if you want to side with them but now court proceedings are taking place and underway 👍🏻

And yes I’m a UK citizen so what do you mean? You know yourself jeffbet is in the wrong.

if you don’t want someone to play block the site simple! Don’t allow someone to spend hours of their time and money to be shady when it comes to winning

Jeff bet does not list any prohibited counties in their t&c so how am I suppose to know?

Well, your situation is more complex than the average player would experience. So, you need to focus on those aspects.

I'll try to explain further.

Normally, players play from the same country they previously registered from. In your case, the UK.

Thus, there is no need to worry about other countries unless you decide to cross borders. Now we're getting to you because you travel a lot, but you are still a UK citizen.

Using your logic, you would need to change your account details each time you visit another country, which is nonsense because, as explained, the registration must meet your citizenship.

Instead, you should consult this situation with the casino to let them know you'll be accessing your account from a different country using a different connection. All those details are monitored by the casino constantly, and each change may result in additional security checks. Thus, it is always better to consult your plans before you leave the country.

The casino support will explain whether you can or can't play from other countries. Always consult with chat or support. This is very likely stated in the terms and conditions.

Please note that not every restricted country is always blocked; the best option is to

a) ask the support

b) consult terms and conditions

c) check the registration form

The casino does not verify incoming deposits; they verify you once you win and ask for the first withdrawal. Making a deposit is solely your choice, so it is important to always register with a full and correct address.

If you can't find the land in the registration form and pick something random, no one will notice unless you undergo the KYC.

Is it better now?

I suggest you check out this free e-course called "iGaming Player Verification and AML" which might help you understand the logic behind the process.

I'm actually not so sure who's wrong, the complaint will show us. I'm just trying to explain how things work. This is not a criticism, just sharing knowledge you probably lack.

"if you don’t want someone to play block the site simple! Don’t allow someone to spend hours of their time and money to be shady when it comes to winning"

I believe the main issue lies elsewhere.

"Jeff bet does not list any prohibited counties in their t&c so how am I suppose to know?"

Always ask the support and save the reply to avoid misunderstandings.

Be a smart one, do not assume; if you really do not know, ask for support. This is far safer, I'd say.

há um ano

Ok that’s fine.

when you ask support they’re clueless? I have multiple screenshots showing support just copying and pasting the same things over and over? So what help are they?

i even have screenshots asking can I withdraw from Thailand and they still didn’t answer the question other than saying, we don’t have access to this information….

let be real, most online casinos are shady and in it just for profit. Hence why they’ve allowed me to deposit thousands and not pay out.

it’s fine now because we have solicitors involved so they can do their job. Court is going to cost me in the region of £50,000 but luckily enough I have a great circle around me who’s willing to help with this.

it’s not about the money now it’s about making a statement.

as mentioned again, would they contacted me if I deposited and lost all the money?

It’s the same in the financial sector with the FCA, things need to be clearly written for the consumer to understand.

im far from ‘dull’ and if it wasn’t clear to me I’m sure it wouldn’t be clear to 99% of people…

Fine, this is the first time I have heard you contacted support. Smart move. 🙂

If their responses were not clear, what made you risk the issue? I mean, if the support is not pretty convincing, if you try to avoid possible problem, it would be reasonable not to play under these circumstances. Don't you think?

I'd also say that asking whether you can withdraw from Thailand is not the same as playing from Thailand using public networks. But I guess it does not matter now.

I'm sorry you find yourself in such a situation. Next time, please do whatever you can to spare yourself such troubles. As you now know, bad support means "don't do that".

This is out of my reach: "as mentioned again, would they contacted me if I deposited and lost all the money?"

You need to ask the casino, can't speak on their behalf. In my opinion, they would not, especially if you lost the money fairly.

I hope there is a way to resolve the complaint fairly and squarely; for that, please respond there:

I agree with you.

Thus, I would be hesitant to proceed further after all those clueless replies. Well, let's see how far we can get with the complaint now.

Hopefully, the solicitor won't be necessary.

há um ano

Totally agree with you, I am clueless but I also know how fair business should work

I appreciate your replies and I will hold on to wait to hear what you guys get back, we have a solicitor who’s also looking into the case but I’ll tell him to hold up untill we hear what comes back your end

i apologise if I come across frustrated

I’ve contacted support over 30 times, they are clueless them selves. Someone in my network asked can they withdraw in Thailand and they’ve confirmed yes which I also have screenshots on this

I feel Jeff bet/progress play are digging themselves a hole, they tried to roll a dice to see if I would loose all the money

i believe karma is real and this case will fall back to them 100%

And yes I agree if I lost the money fairly they wouldn’t have contacted me but yet when I won the money fairly they was over it like a rash😂

It's okay because most players would be frustrated and so would I if I had to deal with similar problems.

As for the withdrawal in Thailand and similar information that support is giving, I think it's just to their own detriment because they are doing themselves a disservice if they support something they know is not according to the rules.

That being said, we will have to wait and see where our team gets to and what the outcome will be. I will wait impatiently, because I am interested in your case.

Fingers crossed and if there is something new, don't forget to update your complaint and you can write to us on the forum.

há um ano

Thanks for your advice/support so far!

you’ve really helped, it’s been a big loss on my end going through this.

it’s a shame because they’re saying that to their own detriment but surely they went against it themselves for even allowing me to access, deposit and play on their site and spend my money when they knew my location from the first deposit never mind the other 10 I made

like I said, they rolled they dice their end to by hoping I lost

look forward to seeing if you guys can re coup the money because I’ll be giving a good proportion to charity anyways

há um ano

And just to mention I’m not in Thailand I’m back home in the UK? So if they pay out their paying out to a uk citizen who’s at home

Lukemiles19
há um ano

It is as you say and the dice are on their side, but now as I mentioned we will have to wait for your complaint to develop and hope that everything is resolved fairly.

However, it is nice to see that you would donate your funds to charity. Do you have a specific one you'd like to support ? 🙂

há um ano

I would donate cahms has my little brother is suffering right now and they’ve done a superb to keep him alive and I’m so grateful 🙌🏼

Lukemiles19

Well, I'm glad to hear that all is well. Back when I was in school, I had the opportunity to read a bit about similar organizations, and if memory serves me right, this one deals with mental health for teens. Is that right ?

Anyway, let's see where our team gets with the complaint and if everything turns out well in the end.  ☘️
