I came across a very strange behavior of a popular streamer and wanted to know if anyone has faced a similar situation? What incidents have you had with streamers?

Twitch: TheDoctor 24800 followers. On the channel, several people take turns streaming slots almost every day. I think they are the ambassadors of Gamdom Casino. I've been watching for a long time - they only play in one casino.

There was a money draw on Twitter. Retweet + subscribe to YouTube, like, comment and post a screenshot to Discord. The first 5 people get $50 today. There were a lot of applicants, but I managed to get there before the others. I'm sitting, waiting for my honestly won prize.

12 hours have passed - silence. Since I won for the first time, I didn't find any rules for getting a prize in Discord, I decided to write to the streamer and find out when I get the prize.

The reaction was strange and inadequate - he refused because I asked about the prize (a screenshot of the correspondence will be below). I apologized, explained that it was the first time I had won something and I just didn't know the rules. He said OK, wait.

I'm sitting, waiting for the prize. 8 days have passed...

I decided to write again. He turned to me very politely, said that I had been watching his streams for a long time, I like them (which was absolutely true at that time) and at the end politely asked about the prize. In response, silence.

Today it's been almost 2 weeks, and even to me, stupid, it became clear that I would never get anything. And I wrote for the last time - to say goodbye to this streamer. And express my disrespect to him.

This time I got an answer. And the reaction was again strange and inadequate.

I made the only logical assumption that all these money draws are just a promotion in order to attract viewers to play at the casino. At the same time receive money from advertising. But when you need to give a prize not during the stream and when no one finds out about it, then you can not give money... And I called him greedy. Which in my opinion is true. A person who plays a $200 bet for one spin - 2 weeks cannot give his viewer $ 50. It's just some kind of cosmic greed.

To which he suddenly started telling me how much he donated to charity... I have a question - how does this relate to my prize? Or if he donates to charity, then he can do contests on Twitter, and then not give prizes?

And I do not know if he is donating or not. I can't check it. But suppose he donates. This is all a show-off again. Being kind and good is when someone sees it. The same as giving money away during a stream. And when no one sees, he does not give. He can be himself...

In general, I wanted to ask, maybe I don't understand something? I've never encountered this before. After all, there is an unspoken agreement. Streamers receive money from advertising, contracts, and so on. They make contests, promote their social networks. They attract viewers, and we sometimes win and can also play in the casino. And everyone is happy. But when you are simply deceived and you are forced to humiliate yourself in order to get an honestly won prize, it is devastating. And plunges into a sad mood. For someone, this is probably ridiculous money. But for me it's a significant amount.

This is my negative experience. The only thing that pleases me is that this is the first time I have encountered such a thing and have never heard of it. So this is an isolated case. And most of the streamers are quite adequate good people.

Tell us about your experience with streamers, if you have one. Good luck to everyone!

Hello,

it seems that this Doctor is not always in a good mood, I'd say.

Even though I have my own opinion on casino streamers in general, I would not say that all of them act with such a level of disrespect.

As you said this is just an isolated case - I hope.

We in Casino Guru have been thinking lately that it would be quite an interesting idea to find a streamer who plays only with his/her money and show us how it works in real-life.

If every slot pays out so well with all the high stakes, we could be all very rich in almost no time - doesn't this sounds quite unbelievable? 🙂

As for the mood, maybe. But again - I raised the issue of reputation. I think it's important. It's more of a philosophical question. A lot of things in our society are built on trust. And compliance with agreements. That is why we can so easily pay for the goods in the store in advance and we know that it will be delivered to us. We don't need a team of lawyers to order pizza))

And by not fulfilling the agreements, such streamers not only spoil their reputation, but also the reputation of the casino they advertise. I think so, maybe I'm wrong. I would like to understand this.

And your idea - to find a streamer who plays for his own money - seems very interesting to me. But there are conditions. He either has to be damn lucky and win more often than lose. Or he must have a lot of viewers so that the income from displaying ads on Twitch and subscriptions covers the loss in the casino))

Hello,

I agree that being a sponsored streamer means that you are not only acting on your behalf so a higher level of credibility is in order - that's for sure.

I'd dare to say there is nothing philosophical about being such a streamer, however. They have their sponsorship and aim to reach the highest number of viewers because it means profit.

Back to our idea: Those conditions are exactly the moral outcome we would like to present as a result of comparing the "real and professional associated with some casino" with a streamer who plays unofficially and who is not in any relation with any casino.

If we show that this unofficial streamer is mostly losing, maybe people will find a way to alter their current point of view. We believe that this whole idea is so simple and interesting that players would notice. 🙂

Good idea, I support it with both hands. People need to be reminded about responsible gambling and that they will mostly lose at the casino if they are not the owners of this casino))

Hi, there's another ongoing discussion about fake casino streamers: https://casino.guru/forum/general-gambling-discussion/truth-about-streamers

Generally speaking, we already know that casino have the power to change RTP on their games, they also have the power to add real money to the streamer's account, but then limit the withdrawals due to a signed contract between the streamer and the casino.

Casino streamers are an interesting topic that we just discussed a last week. I believe that it would be interesting to have our own CasinoGuru streamer and show the real games and results without having any deals with casinos 🙂

100% damaging to players. I got into "gambling" by watching these gamer streamers turn into Gamdom affiliates and ultimately after never even buying a scratch card spent 2 years with my neck down facing a screen spinning away my life on slots.

these false streamers that accept either a pay out to advertise, fake money to stream and/ or take affiliate deals from the lose of others whilst showing a false reality of gambling is absolutely shameless.

I believe Twitch needs to do more to enforce that what we are watching isn’t gambling, it’s straight advertisement for casinos. Gamdom VIP openly told me their biggest streamers Von Dice and WatchGamesTV both take 300% deposit deals, (proof on Imgur)

The casinos all have unethical practice, popular streamer TrainwreckTV sums it up perfectly as to "why he’s paid to play at Stake", if he plays anywhere else it’s damaging for them and they "loose" money? Yet they pay him to sit and state "do not gamble, you will not break even you will not win" … and they still pay him multi millions dollars per month.. it’s absolutely disgusting and unethical. I lost over $300,000 in less than 3 months. No I’m not rich, no I couldn’t afford to loose it. I am an addict, to the worse addiction possible. I almost wish I was a cr-ck addict since I’d have ultimately OD’d and have something to leave my family. Now I’m fighting day by day to afford to charge my phone. These casinos with no AML preventatives really are thieves.

to those that can afford to spend over $10,000 really shouldn’t be bothered if they’re KYCd. Other players look for these since either they’ve self excluded or their own countries don’t allow online gambling. (in my case over $150,000 on 2 separate occasions) 10000% only due to what I seen on screen. Still to this day never bought a scratch card cause I know you can’t win. But every single streamer affiliated to a casino makes it look like the most profitable thing in the world. All Scams.

I'd say that the situation is already well known. Furthermore, if the streamer provides"special" bonuses directly it is most probable that there are other aspects than simple luck. According to Daniel, we would like to show how things really work. Just have to find a proper streamer who shares our point of view.

I have seen something similar on youtube. I used to watch Rohstein from time to time and I think that just his bets he gives or the bonus buy he has is incredible. So anyone who has any knowledge about streamers and casinos has to realize that almost every big streamer works with them and almost never flips their own money.

Do you follow streamers too ?

That is an interesting point of view, really. Maybe there will be some streamers here to tell us something about it. 🤷‍♀️

Yeah, sadly they always do what you have described. Please don't get your hopes up its make believe. Real casinos don't BS like that. They honor their promotions and they're re good at taking people's money without stealing it from them. How's that? Because you might actually win some money and if you wisely decide you'd like to keep the winnings in your pocket, a legitimate casino will actually pay out every cent of what they owe you. You're legitimate winnings are never just forgotten and swept under the rug or forfeited. A real casino periodically goes over every single transaction and will mail you a check for five cents if a single winning pull of slot somehow slipped by unnoticed they'll eventually find it and pay to mail you your check in the amount of five cents. I can prove it. I have a check for five cents. It costs them lime 57 cents to mail it but they squared up with me for something I would have never known about.

It's great to see that such casinos exist, I mean I come across the last two sentences where you describe that they were honest. Unfortunately in the online world there are more and more casinos and sometimes it is hard to tell which is honest and which is not. Of course, that's why I personally wouldn't give the new ones much of a chance. I would stay with the proven ones and wait for the others that have also proven themselves over time and have as few problems as possible.

However, what casino are you talking about where they respect you and pay you even 5 cents?
